My friends and I went for the first time last week and couldn't be more impressed! Their game selection shows that the owners don't just hole themselves into one category but all. There are intense strategy games to quickly 20 minute party games. The food was perfect since you really only need snacks while playing! The beer selection is great! They have a lot of sours which you don't see too often around here. If you're looking for something fun, I'd recommend Board to Beers! Show less

My friends and I went for the first time last week and couldn't be more impressed! Their game selection shows that the owners don't just hole themselves into one category but all. There are intense strategy games to quickly 20 minute party games. The food was perfect since you really only need snacks while playing! The beer selection is great! This is such a fun place to hang out and play games. There are hundreds of different games to try out and plenty of space to play them for only $5 a person. The workers were so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was very laid back. I tried one of the local beers on tap from Wise Acre and we played three different games during our two-hour visit. Cute selection of local beer on tap, you’re also welcome to bring outside food. They recently added a new 4 legged edition to their family, as if their resident dog wasn’t enticing enough. After I learned the hard way that Mollie Fountaine can be a crowded, expensive place during party season especially, my dear friend, Izzy, was kind enough to recommend this place as an alternative for me and my boyfriend. I must say that I am quite pleased with what I’ve experienced thus far. Not only is the food delicious (albeit a bit pricy), but I also love their selection of beer and games and the fact that everyone who comes into Board to Beers is very kind and loves for every stranger in the room to partake in a game. Sadly, because I usually work Wednesdays through Sundays from 2 pm to 11 pm, coming to Board to Beers is a luxury for me. However, for those who can make it during those times, I’d say that you all would have good luck coming here and making many happy memories here.
