Oh, how I wish I remembered the name of the employee who helped me, they were SO great! I walked in a few weeks ago looking for multiple things including a game to gift to my partner and games the two of us could play with our two younger kids, and they gave me some wonderful recommendations - and some ideas for things to consider for later! They also helped me for quite a while and never made me feel rushed. They obviously enjoy and are good at their job. We've only played the one I gifted my partner so far but he LOVES it so it was clearly a spot-on suggestion. The store seemed laid out nicely - not that I'm an expert, but it was nice to browse and lined up well with other game shops I've been too. And I am of course happy to support a business that prioritizes community and inclusion! My only complaint is that I live so far, but maybe that's better for my bank account. 🙂 Show less

Oh, how I wish I remembered the name of the employee who helped me, they were SO great! I walked in a few weeks ago looking for multiple things including a game to gift to my partner and games the two of us could play with our two younger kids, and they gave me some wonderful recommendations - and some ideas for things to consider for later! I was visiting Dallas and was supposed to just stop by to quickly pick up my online order but I ended up spending an hour (wish I could spend more!) browsing through the amazing selection of games. Just the kind of place a boardgame enthusiast would love to hang out in. I was visiting Dallas and was supposed to just stop by to quickly pick up my online order but I ended up spending an hour (wish I could spend more!) browsing through the amazing selection of games. I loved the boardgame upgrades that were available at the store. Absolutely amazing selection! The folks working there were friendly and approachable. The play area, the restroom, everything was clean and the whole place has a very welcoming, open, friendly vibe. I will be visiting again the next time I am in DFW. Show less
