I didn't own a model kit or anything, but I had this Miku paper theater since 2019 and decided to stop by on a Thursday for their weekly Build Night. I never heard of blue matcha before, so when I saw it I was pretty confused. Dennis and his team were very helpful at explaining the menu! They also often have special events and seasonal runs of unique drinks. Gotta try them while they're still around! Show less

Hopeful but worried. Got to visit for their soft opening after following the OG for a long time on tiktok. Front half has some seating for the cafe/board games. Back half has a bit more seating, some merch, some claw machines, and two consoles. I know it’s soft opening, but if the original idea of ... Read more

Hopeful but worried. Got to visit for their soft opening after following the OG for a long time on tiktok. Front half has some seating for the cafe/board games. Back half has a bit more seating, some merch, some claw machines, and two consoles. I know it’s soft opening, but if the original idea of Gamers Heaven is supposed to be a taste of Akihabara, I don’t know how they’ll pull it off given half the store is already occupied by the kitchen. I just don’t see how they have any room to expand, but hopefully they’ll surprise me in the future Show less

I say 5* for the food but to clarify the context, at the end of the day it's okay cafe/bar food. It's not going to be great or fine dining. But it's solid and has decent bay area prices. I say 5* for the food but to clarify the context, at the end of the day it's okay cafe/bar food. It's not going to be great or fine dining. But it's solid and has decent bay area prices. Aside from that the atmosphere and service is great. I'll add photos the next time I go but it's clean and spacious. They often hold events whether it's themed like Kpop demon hunters or for card/game events. A great selection of board games from 1-10 players and they're all clean and relatively new. Gamers Heaven is the place to be for students and young professionals! They have boba and snacks (as most cafes do), there’s also tons of board games, gashapon, video games, and a whole merch store! I ordered the Bee’s Knees drink and the onion rings, tasty and good portions. Spent a couple hours playing board games with friends and looking around the store. Super fun place to check out in Santa Clara :) Show less
