2 years agoAwesome shop to have near my home. We go down on different nights to participate in the calendar of activities. Board Games. Miniature paining. Magic cards. The owner is a very cool guy. A family man. I hope the game house is successful. It has been a fun place to visit.

I briefly spoke with the owner who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and really made a conscious effort to make me feel welcome there. He very kindly took the time to write down the schedule for some of the upcoming events there for me and we had some good conversation. I think what really left a lasting impression on me was what was written on the back of their business card that I read when I left the store. It described the feel good vibes of just hanging out at your friends place and having a good time playing some games, which is exactly the atmosphere I was looking for. Happy to have you so close to me in town and I look forward to coming in again. Show less

I briefly spoke with the owner who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and really made a conscious effort to make me feel welcome there. 8 months agoI check out game stores every where I go, and this store has one of the friendliest owners I've met. Along with a good selection of MTG, they have a really cool selection of board games, which is sort of a shortcoming for most game stores. Will be coming back next time I'm in town.

The store looks amazing and is clearly wonderfully ran. 5 months agoGreat place to play board games. Unlike other Local shops they aren't entirely chasing the TCG market. Healthy selection of board games and hosts weekly Board game nights. $5 to play and get $5 in store credit.

I walked in with multiple cards easily worth over $100 EACH, and this guy had the nerve — the audacity — to offer me 40% of market value. Forty. Percent. This has got to be THE WORST place on planet Earth to sell Pokémon cards. I walked in with multiple cards easily worth over $100 EACH, and this guy had the nerve — the audacity — to offer me 40% of market value. Forty. Percent. If you know anything about collecting, you know that’s basically a slap across the face. Then he tries to upsell me on a “60% trade-in value”… except the joke is he didn’t even have any Pokémon products in stock. Nothing. Zero. Why offer trade-in for stuff you don’t even have? The vibe was horrible, the service was worse, and the guy working there wasn’t friendly at all. Honestly, I wouldn’t go back even if he offered me market value, retail value, AND a coupon. Do yourself a favor: avoid this place like a PSA-1 fake Charizard. Never going back, and I definitely don’t recommend anyone else waste their time either. Show less

The owner is a 11/10 human being and goes out of his way to accommodate whatever you’re looking for, and if they don’t have it they will order it and keep you posted on when it comes in. They run a board game club every Saturday and the community there is just fantastic. I highly recommend dropping by and making some new friends one weekend. Knoxville is lucky to have them. Show less
