It's cheaper than other stores, and best of all, you can bring in your own food and drinks, which is a huge plus. While you don't eat a lot of snacks when playing board games, drinks are absolutely essential. They have a huge selection of games, so it's fun to browse and find something interesting yourself, but finding a specific game can be difficult. It's quicker to make a list of interesting board games online and ask the owner, "Do you have [game name]?" They'll find it for you. It's a great place to play board games in Sannomiya, so you'll often find regulars hanging around. If you're the kind of person who can play games in their own world without being bothered by the crowd, then I'd give it 5 stars. Show less

Board game play space. With a wide selection, you'll never run out of games to play.

If you have time, come and have fun playing various board games. The maximum all-day fee is 1,600 yen and you can stay until the end.

The selection and play space are good. The prices are pretty reasonable, just a little cheaper than the Yellow Submarine. Depending on the time you go, it can feel a bit like you're in a group, which is a bit annoying.

They have by far the largest selection of board games, and the instructions (rule explanations) are thorough. They also have a lot of new games for sale, so I recommend them. What's more, students can play at half price, which is great.

The staff are friendly. They'll give you lots of recommendations. You can bring your own food and eat before playing games. The student discount is 600 yen cheaper. It's so much fun. I'll come again.

There is no time limit, and you pay one fee and can stay as long as you want. There is a great discount deal for university students too. Best of all, it has more than 1200 game with major titles, new releases, and deluxe editions that you can play at no extra cost. A lot of games are in English or German so you can play even if you don’t know Japanese. There is also a massive collection (in addition to the 1200 titles) of Japanese indie small box games. Honestly this store has the largest collection of board games I have ever seen. The store owner is really friendly and knowledgeable. You can easily tell his love for the hobby. If you are a board game hobbyist visiting Japan you should definitely check out this place! Show less
