Definitely me, cause I always beat my friends and like to watch them suffer as I celebrate in glory and victory. It's a nice and simple place with generous numbers of both games and tahles, they also have a lot of mahjong tables too (wish I had enough friends knowing how to play this though lol)! It's also pretty much in Chinatown so it's a very accessible location. They also sell board games, drinks and some snacks which is convenient when you needa feed on something while getting competitive. Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ Show less

Rude staff, beware... Went in as a group of 6 with an online booking. After we entered, a lady directed us to a private room without saying anything. We were surprised as this never happened before (I've been to Double Kill three times total), and there were a decent number of communal tables we were happy to sit at instead. Imagine our surprise when after we finished playing our board games and returned to the entrance to pay, the cashier guy told us that use of the private room would be charged at a minimum of 9 people ($135 + surcharge) instead of the 6 people ($90 + surcharge) we actually had in our group! Despite us not asking to be put in a private room, none of the staff members ever telling us that the private room had a higher cost, and this higher price not listed anywhere in the venue or the booking SMS at all. He also berated us for "not paying attention" and blamed us for the mistake, as though we were supposed to somehow already know(???) - if they had told us at any point that there would be a higher fee, we would have happily taken the communal tables instead... only after a long negotiation did he eventually relent and charged us as a 6 person group ($90 + card surcharge). I hate to leave a negative review like this as I've been to this venue several times before and had great experiences in the past. But if you put us in a room that's $45 more expensive without our knowledge, at least have the decency to tell us beforehand! Show less

Their staff can recommend or explain game rules if you’re unsure. Time passed by very quickly, our group ended up staying for over 5 hours. Best part is their snack bar while playing games. Otherwise you’re allowed to bring your own snacks or order takeaway. Show less

Haven’t been to a board game cafe in so long and I’m so glad we found this place! It’s a bit hard to book but I think you can just rock up if it’s not a weekend. It’s quite big inside with lots of drinks, icecream and snacks available but they also allow you to bring your own drinks. Location is super convenient in the heart of Haymarket and there’s so many board games here as well as several mahjong tables. If we didn’t have kids with us, we would’ve stayed all night!!
