I have to make it back here ASAP! The technology piece skyrockets this experience from a basic escape room. The original plan was for 7 people (which we would have had to be on two different teams) but the way the cookie crumbled only 4 of us were available that Thursday afternoon. Purchased the Groupon 4 person/30 minute Grid experience for $38. The staff was amazing from Jay to Madison. We did collect a good number of points from the rooms we visited but its definitely some place that has me curious enough to try ALL rooms. They have other just hang out activity like air hockey, food, beer. *this was a great activity for the Bachelorette getaway. Show less

We had 90 mins to try out all the challenge rooms in the arena. The team captains were given digital maps on our phones and wristbands to scan and gain access to each challenge room. We got through like 20 rooms in our entire game. Mix of puzzles, mental and physical games. Definitely not for young kids but older teenagers should be good to play these games. I would love to go and play here again. The moderator / host was really entertaining! We had pizzas and fries and drinks here as well ! The fries were tasty and well seasoned. My family and I were in Charlotte for the weekend and decided to go here. This place cool! The owner is even cooler. We did The Grid challenge which was way harder than our inflated self-esteem predicted. Each room was challenging in various ways. Working together as a team using everyone diverse gifts made for a fun night. I will admit we were NOT victorious, but at the end of the night it was so much fun! We even got a chance to talk to the owner afterwards to compliment him on such a great concept. He also had pity on us because we did not successfully complete one challenge so he gave us a personal tutorial of one of the rooms we couldn’t figure out and allowed us to retry that room so we could leave with a win. Five stars ⭐️! Highly recommend! Show less

During our second round my son ended up with a random nose bleed (this has nothing to do with the grid, just randomly happened) and the staff were so kind. They checked the room and the hall for blood, the followed a droplet contact, they brought me as many napkins as we needed, paused our time, and were genuinely just friendly and helpful! This place is a perfect getaway. Came on a Wednesday and did the 90min Grid. As a first time guest I had no idea what I was walking into. Each and every person was welcoming, patient and kind. We got through the games and felt accomplished when the game attendant told us we did above average. After ordering our food and drinks we played some games that they offer on the arcade floor. The music was definitely a vibe and the games had to of been selected by someone who knows and plays arcade games! After our food came Eli the manager came over and had a great conversation with us. He explained what was offered, the best ways to enjoy everything, even down to letting us know the size of the location is comparable to a Win Dixie. All I could think was this is best manager I have ever seen and whatever they are paying him, it isn’t enough! I’m leaving this review hoping the right person sees it. This location is EVERYTHING adventurous people or even puzzle solvers are looking for. In the spirit of recognition and giving “just due” Eli deserves it all! Please don’t hesitate to meet him, he is awesome and I can definitely see him becoming an owner of this district or another one! As it was a Thursday night the place wasn't jam-packed but still enough people were there to feel like we were not alone. When we walked in we were greeted by friendly hostesses who could tell we hadn't been there before. So we got the rundown of the place from them and figured we had just enough time for an hour-long session in something called the grid. Now the grid is a collection of mental, physical, and skillful challenging rooms that you could run in and out of trying to complete them successfully. We were off to a rough start, but we started trying some of the lower-point ones that were easier and got a few victories so we could keep going! Our hour ended and we went on to the next thing . . . Karaoke! Now we do not dare to stand up and get the singing but we did enjoy others entertaining us with their singing. After that, we went towards the arcade to see what they had. It was some classics over there that were well worth a play or two. There is another attraction called the borderlands. We did not have an opportunity to do this activity as we needed more people, hence why we are coming back with the fam. Now from what we could tell the boarderlands is a laser tag type of game with a tactical side that we did not get to see. Overall place was a blast, i recommend hitting it up on a not so busy day to get a full experience. Show less

It was a perfect setup! The food was surprisingly good for a place like this. I expected low-quality arcade food but it was much better than expected! We enjoyed all the pizza flavors.
