Worst dining experience I had in the whole of New Orleans. Excruciatingly humiliating. (Anyone sensitive about their body and trying to eat good choices, stay far far away.) You can only order french fries or grits as a side for your egg sandwich. I was not allowed to skip those options. So I was given french fries... for breakfast??? While I had to deal with that I was also given a table number that just said "COW" and had a picture of a cow on the card. Imagine a restaurant creating an environment that makes you feel terrible for eating breakfast. Show less

I stopped in to work here for a few hours and had a great experience! The coffee was great and the barista + team was lovely. Cute spot. Wasn't sure at first where it was located, wish Google stated more clearly if it's inside another building but once we overcame that hurdle, it was easy going. Really nice staff. A bit tough environment for studying or work as it does get loud with the Commons brunch and hotel guests passing through. While the coffee shop itself has a charming and inviting ambiance, I must admit that I was a bit disappointed with the quality of their coffee offerings. The coffee shop is undeniably a cute and pleasant place to work, gather, or engage in conversations. The atmosphere is cozy, and the library theme adds a unique touch that enhances the overall experience. The seating arrangements are comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, I found the coffee to be subpar considering the price. I ordered a "Large" latte, but it was disappointingly small, comparable to a small-sized latte at other coffee chains. The taste of the latte was just okay, lacking the richness and depth that I look for in a good espresso-based drink. I was also taken aback by the high price of $8 for such a small cup of latte. It felt overpriced for the quality and size offered. In addition to the latte, I also tried their chocolate croissant, which was decent but didn't stand out as exceptional. While it satisfied my craving for a sweet treat, it didn't leave a lasting impression. Overall, the funny library coffee shop has potential, but improvements are needed in the quality of their coffee offerings, particularly the espresso-based drinks. The pricing should also be reevaluated to better align with the experience and taste provided. It would be great to see them work on refining their coffee recipes, sourcing higher-quality beans, and enhancing the overall coffee experience for their customers.
