My husband and I took our three year old to Playdium this past Friday, and unfortunately, many of the games didn't work. Additionally, there were many games for which I had to scan my pass twice in order for the game to work. Therefore, the tokens on my pass were taken two times. It isn't fair. I asked an employee for their assistance but without luck. Clearly, there is a disconnect between management and their staff. Communication should be better amongst internal staff to ensure all floor personnel can assist customers when needed. I would like someone from the management team to follow up with me, regarding extra credits being taken for games that were only played once. Also for the lack of assistance by floor staff. Recently visited Playdium with my family for an afternoon outing and was pleasantly surprised how much variety there was! They have games for everyone - from older classic arcade games to the newer virtual headset games, it was a blast. They have several private rooms for birthday celebrations and there's also a bowling alley in the back! They serve food here with lots of seating available. The place was clean and spacious. Prices for the credits are a bit on the higher side though. Playdium is great for a fun family outing and we'll definitely be back! Show less

Was there just today, March 14, 2025 between 7pm-8:30pm. A lot of machines aren’t working properly, so much for a NEW arcade place. Some staff not too helpful. I told a girl at the front we needed help because a game didn’t work and that I needed assistance, two people attending the floor just passed by me without saying anything, went back to front still nothing, told the girl we were waiting and I thought she called somebody to come help us, she yelled “I did, I did!” and proceeded to talk to somebody else at the front leaving me in the corner, I did not leave until another girl came and a tall guy- must be the floor manager, he finally told me he’s just going to give us back the credits. Went to another machine and same thing happened, lost 2 games worth of credits. Not worth the hype imo. Show less

Uh so went here for the $10 all you can play in one hour during the month of June and must say it’s not the exact same thing every instagram tiktoker whatnot have said it was, expect to pay for the wrist band if it’s your first time there too, and they didn’t mention that the $10 ALL you can play doesn’t include stuff like claw machines and the fancies ones, idk? And for me the experience was just a lot of ppl lining up for one single game at this small and super tiny area, and there wasn’t anything particularly interesting to me, so I just spent like 10min playing the basketball shooting game over and over again because all the other rides and such are full, and I only remember there was one ride that included VR headsets, which was also full and had a lineup, and there are many couples at the bowling area, and I remember walking around many times to check and there was no ropes course, unless your talking about the game where you were physically pulling ropes that were sticked onto the game screen to earn coins (P2), which is probably not what they were mentioning…? One of the games which was the Hippos game was also closed for it to be fixed. Was def expecting there to be lots of ppl seeing how many influencers recommended the experience, but it was quite frustrating since it was quite small and tbh there wasn’t much games being offered to be enough to play in an hour long session, especially with the lineup. I’d personally would recommend to watch a movie that’s like also in Fairview mall on a Tuesday for the money, but some ppl might also enjoy it if they haven’t been to an arcade for a long time and want to enjoy it at a lower cost ig. I’d also suggest the more popular games, such as the dance machine have more than one because there’s always a lineup for that hh Show less

Visited Playdium Fairview on a very busy long weekend Sunday afternoon. First, credit where it’s due — the $20 value deal (one hour of free play plus a kids meal with drink and fries) is fantastic and honestly one of the reasons we chose to visit. The entertainment side was fun and the kids were excited. Now for the part that needs attention. The food was unfortunately very disappointing. The pizza was bland and dry, the burger was served lukewarm, and the nachos quickly turned into a mushy mess because everything (cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream) was poured all over. Even worse, the cheese sauce and chicken pieces were already cold when we sat down. For a place catering heavily to families and children, this is totally disappointing. Thankfully the kitchen manager issued a refund for the nachos ($25) Service also left a poor impression. While waiting for a cleaned table, staff appeared to assume the mess was ours and walked away without clearing it, leaving us awkwardly standing there with kids and trays. Not the most welcoming experience. The men’s bathroom had no toilet paper in any stall, which required asking multiple staff members to resolve. That’s the sort of basic maintenance detail that really shouldn’t slip. The fountain drinks were also noticeably off — Pepsi tasted like brown soda water with no flavour, and the iced tea was extremely diluted. Overall, Playdium is a great concept with excellent entertainment value, but the food quality, cleanliness, and service consistency seriously detracted from the experience. I truly hope management tightens things up, because families are paying not just for games, but for a full, enjoyable outing. Show less
