This is one of the cookest game store's I have ever been in. The play space for either Board/Card games and the wargaming tables are really high quality and nicely spaced. The employees working were really nice and fun to be around. I'm the grandmother of a 12 year old that is learning to play Magic - The Gathering. I took my grandson to Monday game night in hopes he could at least watch some good players and learn. I'm the grandmother of a 12 year old that is learning to play Magic - The Gathering. I took my grandson to Monday game night in hopes he could at least watch some good players and learn. The gaming community at this store is amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful, the players were amazing. I don't know a lot about gaming, but I've learned a lot this week, and this shop is top notch. They have family games as well. So cool. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Show less

I'm the grandmother of a 12 year old that is learning to play Magic - The Gathering. I took my grandson to Monday game night in hopes he could at least watch some good players and learn. The gaming community at this store is amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful, the players were amazing. I don't know a lot about gaming, but I've learned a lot this week, and this shop is top notch. They have family games as well. So cool. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Show less

Some things never change. 14 years later, and they still pull the same shenanigans. Went to sell magic cards. They wanted me to leave them there. The last time I did that with my binder full of rare, and mythic rare cards. When I got it back they offered me 60 dollars. Saying no, I took my stuff bac... Read more

Some things never change. 14 years later, and they still pull the same shenanigans. Went to sell magic cards. They wanted me to leave them there. The last time I did that with my binder full of rare, and mythic rare cards. When I got it back they offered me 60 dollars. Saying no, I took my stuff back home, and licked my wounds. I found that there were quite a few cards stolen out of it that day. I swore to myself to never set foot in that place again. I go in there today, and the same guy is still working there. Sorry gents, I will never leave my cards in your filthy thieving hands, without my supervision again. Should call the store crooks, I’ve been doing it for 14 plus years. Show less

Always a treat to wander around in Rook's! There's always something new to see every time, and the breadth of board games they have is alike to the Library of Alexandria. I could never play all of these games in a lifetime, and yet it's in a small local store. Some prices here can be steep, but I'm ... Read more
