Went in at 5:30 pm on a friday and waited at the front desk for five minutes. Two other girls came after us and a chinese guy said hi to them, ignored us, and showed them their way in. Pretty slow service. 30 dollars per hour for a small room. Waited an hour and a half for the food that didn't end up coming. Ended up spending 2 hours with no food. 10 mins before we left they offered complimentary food for the trouble but spending 60 dollars for a room is pretty expensive. Could ha... Read more

Please trust all of the terrible reviews here and DO NOT GO I’m never one to write terrible reviews or complain about a place but when I tell you, the service, food, atmosphere was absolutely terrible here 😭 First of all: Extremely slow service like all of the other reviews have mentioned, the service is absolutely terrible and slow, they take over half an hour to bring out a simple drink that can be made in five minutes and they hesitated to even bring us water and took half an hour to give us water, you get charged $30-$35 an hour for the room booking to play games so they definitely purposely took extremely long to give us the most simplest food and drinks so that we would be forced to stay longer and pay more Second of all: not so great customer service, I’m never one to complain about how someone does their job. I understand that the workers are doing their best and i appreciate that, however they were completely out of mango drinks and had mentioned this to us after i had ordered one but still charged me for it anyways. We didn’t realize on the bill initially we were a large group but we realized 15 minutes after we left and went back. The worker simply told us that we should’ve checked the bill but she will give us a refund anyways as if it was our fault that they didn’t check the bill properly…. On top of that, the workers are mostly sitting in their storage room on their phone and not checking in on customers to see how they’re doing or if they wanted anything which is what they should be doing. They also gave us the wrong order twice and took too long to give us any food. Third of all: Game selection, there was not much of a selection for games but I can understand this since the cafe seems new, hopefully they can add more games eventually Fourth of all: the food, it was not delicious at all, and definitely not worth the price, most of the food was unbearable to eat with the fries being sour, salty and bitter, it was truly terrible. A lot of the food items on the menu are also poorly described which makes it hard for us to know what to order and considering the workers don’t walk around at all or check in on you at all, it’s hard to even ask them questions about the order because the workers just chill in their storage room on their phone Fifth of all: the atmosphere, I think they should at least play some music or have a small speaker in each of the rooms for us to connect our phone to and play our own music to make it a more fun atmosphere This cafe is definitely overpriced compared to other board games cafes that are more popular and established and in my opinion, it was not worth the price Show less

My boyfriend went downstairs to check and they said their kitchen “blew up on fire”. Wym?? Their tactic is to deliver food late so you will be force to extend your stay and pay extra $30 /hr. We stayed for another hour because we were waiting for the food and ofc we were charged for an extra hour when it was not even our fault. The guy offered us free chicken skin (I guess) which I believe will not compensate with the everything. Tactic is very unacceptable. Also their extended room is located on the 2nd and it’s not even close to the room decor posted on their website. Looks more like a meeting room but without any windows. WILL HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND‼️ Show less

Visited with my friends at the tail end of 2024. It's in the plaza adjacent to Sky City. We stopped by after dinner nearby at Happy Valley. Admission was $20/person for as long as you want. My friends and I were brought to one of the rooms near the back. Pretty spacious. Not enough chairs but I was able to grab chairs from one of the unoccupied rooms and bring them over. Ventilation was not good. Our room was very stuffy and warm. Board game selection could also be bigger (this one will come with time since they are still "kinda" new I guess?) We ordered some of the new, featured drinks on the menu. They were pretty good! The green grape drink I got was quite tasty. Not too sweet. Service was semi-shotty and the site that you order from is kinda sketchy. They also charged my friend twice but he only ordered one drink (luckily they fixed this gladly). I think they have a bunch of operational things to iron out, like better ventilation and more board games, but value-wise this place is not bad! Show less

Visited with my friends at the tail end of 2024. It's in the plaza adjacent to Sky City. We stopped by after dinner nearby at Happy Valley. Admission was $20/person for as long as you want. My friends and I were brought to one of the rooms near the back. Pretty spacious. Not enough chairs but I was able to grab chairs from one of the unoccupied rooms and bring them over. Ventilation was not good. Our room was very stuffy and warm. Board game selection could also be bigger (this one will come with time since they are still "kinda" new I guess?) We ordered some of the new, featured drinks on the menu. They were pretty good! The green grape drink I got was quite tasty. Not too sweet. The room itself was beautifully decorated, modern, and very clean. What impressed me most was the incredible value—at only $35 an hour for our entire group of 12, it is much more affordable than many other places that charge $5 per person.
