Cops were called and lights on within five minutes. The pool table also didn’t work, -1 star for that as well. I went to leave and a car was blocking me in, it turned out to be an employee of the Blind Pig. He proceeded to curse at me and say it was “employee parking” but there was zero signage. Usually I’d give this place 4 stars but after last night I’d never go back or recommend this place to anyone. My friends and I went to the blind pig to have a girls night out; but it ended with us getting kicked and thrown out (literally) by two men security guards after asking the bartender to remake our watered down drinks (which we told her we’d still pay for); I even had to send back sprite bc it was flat. She apparently felt “threatened” although we were buying drinks and tipping her all night. She had a nasty attitude and horrible customer service skills. So, me and 2 of my friends left while waiting for 3 others. Next thing you know we see our friends being pushed and thrown out ofter being man-handled slammed on the ground by the security guards; one of my friends were even punched (mind you a male security punching a female in the face). This is a horrible place; how do you treat previous faithful customers the way that you do? The bartender thought we were drunk weren’t going to notice the watered down drinks and got upset bc we called her out. The security guards need trainings on how to handle certain situations; no force is needed with women who are complying with your requests. Please do not provide this company with business; they are careless, aggressive, discriminatory, inconsiderate and money hungry. They do not at all care about their customers. Go to any other place in NODA but this one. Show less

Usually I’d give this place 4 stars but after last night I’d never go back or recommend this place to anyone. My friends and I went to the blind pig to have a girls night out; but it ended with us getting kicked and thrown out (literally) by two men security guards after asking the bartender to remake our watered down drinks (which we told her we’d still pay for); I even had to send back sprite bc it was flat. I went out for my friends birthday on Saturday. I have been coming to the blind pig for years. However, when we were ready to leave I went to close out my tab. The bartender was extremely rude and because of that my cousin and I decided not to leave a tip. I went back to our table and we were ordering our Uber. That is when I felt a wad of wet paper hit my head. I told my cousin that I had felt it, but I thought it was someone being silly. It was when a random guy came up to me and saw the bartender throw it at me. He said, " If I were you I would not let that slide, I saw the bartender throw it." I confronted her without being disrespectful and I asked to speak to the manager. She called me a name and asked security to take me out. Once, I was out I spoke to the head of management and explained the situation. I knew they would take her word over mine. Luckily, he was a professional and took his time to listen to my story. He told me to wait as he would go speak to them and listen to their side of the story. They claimed I was being disrespectful which was not the case- the problem here was they didn't get a tip because of their attitude. As I was waiting, I could see her smiling and laughing with her co-workers. She came out and loudly shouted for us to get off the property as I was on the sidewalk with my friends. She threatened to call the cops. I called them instead. They came I asked for the tapes to be pulled. May I reiterate that the guy who is the head of management was very polite and honest. We called back the next day and he indeed confirmed that he had seen that on the video. As for me and my friends, we will not be coming back! We are completely disgusted with the bartenders lack of professionalism. Kudos to the guy working as the head of security and nighttime manager! Show less

The bartender was extremely rude and because of that my cousin and I decided not to leave a tip. I went back to our table and we were ordering our Uber. I attempted to patronize this spot about 4pm yesterday with a girlfriend yesterday as it was recommended. Took a spot at the bar. Waited to be addressed. A party of 4 gentlemen stepped up to the bar to the left of us, were acknowledged and served, a party of 2 stepped up to the right of us, and were acknowledged and served. Once they were served, the bartender finally acknowledged our presence after 10 min and I simply and politely asked is there a reason these parties were served prior to us, he responded very condescendingly that they were members and he knew what they wanted and he doesn’t have to serve us at all if we have a problem. Needless to say, you are correct, my dollars will be spent where they are appreciated, we left. I was angry upon leaving and couldn’t figure out why a service provider was so illicit in his words. Needless to say, my dollars were no good there and that was a stain on NODA’s stellar reputation. Show less

Then I stood at the bar for a solid 5mins patiently waiting my turn when a group of guys pushed in next to me and the bartender turned around and immediately asked them what they wanted. I was like hey? And must have made a shocked face cause he was like sorry I’m just moving down the bar. Hello I’ve been standing here for a while you clearly saw me. I asked for two Tito’s with lemonade which was on the specials board and got two glasses of straight lemonade. No vodka. And I know this because I already had two from the woman bartender who served me promptly and well made drinks. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues being served by that same male bartender and he’s the same one with an attitude about the long cups. Please make Marcus a bartender. I spoke with him very briefly and he gave me a tour of the outside patio and the upstairs area. He noticed me sitting at the bar and decided to stop me and show me the other areas I had access to. This type of customer service should not be wasted on Janitorial Services. He should be in a position to provide this type of service to everyone. He needs a bigger role. He changed my entire experience. Thanks Marcus.
