I had the best customer service experience with Ian at The Book Exchange in Missoula. I live out of state and wanted to purchase gift cards for my nieces. Although gift cards aren’t available on their website, Ian made the process incredibly easy over the phone. He offered to both hold the gift cards for pickup and mail them if needed. I chose the pickup option, and the entire experience was seamless. He was so kind, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to work with — it truly made my day. I had stopped into The Book Exchange once while visiting Missoula in October and absolutely loved the store, so it felt great to support them again. I purchased two gift cards and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I highly recommend shopping with The Book Exchange Missoula — fantastic service, great atmosphere, and people who clearly care about their customers! Show less

Looked at stoves, ovens and microwaves. Nice selection as well as helpful sales people. Have already purchased a LG refrigerator from them.

The Book Exchange is our favorite place to get books. They sell both new and used books- and have a vast collection. The youth section is filled with age appropriate fact, fiction, and fantasy books. They also have an adorable little one’s corner perfect for blossoming imaginations. Their religious section has a wide variety of books for many faiths- both sacred and inspirational. They have a large selection of books in hunting and guns, birds, all things Montana - as well as the expected categories and sections of books. There are benches in various places to sit throughout their store. They have a delightful cafe/coffee shop (open until 4) with plenty of seating and local baked goods. If you’re looking for a specific book and they don’t have it in stock, you can get placed on their call list in case a copy comes in. They also keep a credit account for purchases of used books if you’d prefer credit over cash for your book exchanges. The best parr about the Book Exchange is their staff. They have friendly long term employees who are avid readers and remember their customers. Their holiday selection of children books is filled with magic and good messages. The Book Exchange is highly recommended any time of year for children’s books- especially in December. Show less
