(Though, espresso-tonics are arguably the best coffee drinks for hot weather, which is definitely on its way.) My experience here was quite nice and I plan on returning. The most impressive attribute of this place is its capaciousness. They have ample street level and second story seating, including both a street level patio and a balcony patio. The second story space even has a screen and overhead projector. It would be perfect for small-to-medium sized business meetings. Show less

Perfect experience with Pregame coffee at their new spot this morning. Ordered online at 11:50, picked up at 12. Very tasty and substantial Tijuana Wrap (Eggs, chorizo, cotija cheese), and an excellent coffee. If the coffee looks small, it's because it's a traditional cappuccino, and was less than $4. Whole order was $12.50, great for a specialty coffee and breakfast. Beautiful and accessible space, friendly service and seamless online ordering. Very welcome addition to the Butchertown end of Frankfort Avenue. My only regret is that in my excitement at finding a new spot, I completely forgot to leave a tip. Next time. Show less

We tried a coffee drink that was absolutely delicious that had a shot of Bourbon. It had a chocolate/toasted marshmallow taste that mellowed the Bourbon. The white chocolate mochas were to die for. UPDATE... Stopped in a 2nd time and it was GREAT. Will be stopping in everytime were in Louisville from Now on. Barista was incredibly kind and helpful. Coffee was great and the sugar cookies were so good we had to come back the next day to stock back up :) also got a great story about the history of the location.

PRO - Easy parking off-street. - Exceptionally clean venue. - No wait at counter. - Helpful, friendly, and relaxed staff. - Ample seating downstairs (window rail, tables, couches serving as half-booths), outdoor seating (with a very aesthetic, vaulted ceiling), and upstairs (more tables, couches). Seems an easy spot to chill, chat, study, etc. Not overly loud. - Well thought-out seasonal menu (didn’t get the main menu). - Strictly for the sake of this review and definitely for no other reason, I tried a pastry despite coming for coffee only. The handpie looked popular (low quantity) and I enjoyed it. - Winter Solstice Latte was remarkable. Tasted a bit like blackberry pie. One of the better coffees I’ve had lately — and I’ve been to a lot of really excellent coffee shops. - Coquito Latte w/ oat milk (wife’s choice) was also delicious. CON - Coconut milk would be a nice addition for the non-dairy crowd in the future. BOTTOM LINE - Definite repeater. We shall return. Show less
