The hotel and the service were great! The food was very unique, quite a culinary experience! Delicious! However, the magic show itself was mediocre at best.

The food was quite delicious and the projections were a bit tacky but engaging and entertaining nonetheless. Remember to ask for free TAP water or they might give your “distilled or bottled” water and charge you for it. I appreciate the creative effort put into each course!

We were genuinely excited to experience the Magic Table—the concept is creative and full of potential. Unfortunately, the execution didn’t live up to expectations, especially given the price point. Throughout the evening, there were several technical issues. The sound and visuals were consistently out of sync by a few seconds, which made the experience feel disjointed and distracting. Service also seemed uncoordinated. The staff were friendly and clearly trying, but it felt like there was a lack of direction, which led to lots of moments of confusion. For example, the appetizer was beautifully presented, but the crisps were brought out after most guests had already finished, making it awkward to enjoy the dish as intended. The magic element itself was underwhelming. The tricks felt quite basic—more along the lines of a casual performance (something a child would present to parents) than something you’d expect from a premium experience. Food-wise, presentation was strong, but the flavor didn’t match. Both the soup and main course were noticeably bland and would have benefited from even simple seasoning adjustments like salt and pepper! In total, we spent around $450 for two people (including drinks, tax, and tip), and unfortunately, it didn’t feel like good value for the experience provided. This is a concept with a lot of promise, but it needs tighter coordination, better technical execution, and more attention to the food quality. With some refinement, it could be something truly special—but for now, it was a disappointing evening. Show less

We recently visited the Magic Table in Toronto and, while the food was quite good, the overall experience felt more suited to children than adults. At $200 per person, it really didn’t feel worth the cost, and because we had an odd number in our group, we were required to pay for an extra seat with no flexibility on that policy. Bottled water was surprisingly overpriced for a local brand, though alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced. As someone with hearing loss, I found it difficult to follow the dialogue, though thankfully my wife helped interpret. The show itself could have been better. The use of video segments and inexpensive props gave it more of a novelty feel than a premium experience. Overall, while the concept is interesting, it fell short of expectations. Show less

The show was fun. The food was meh. I think that because i’m a kid at heart i got in to it. But for adults it may be boring. Especially when food isn’t crazy for the $500 we spent

Perfect spot for a special date night. Great concept, keeps the suspense, the food was well curated, and tasted amazing. Though the pricing can definitely be lower.

Honestly the price point is the only major issue here. They seem to be trying to sell this as an adult experience when in reality the target demographic should be 10-13 yr olds and their parents. The food was great for me but mediocre for the special kiddo I took with me. However the show was great for the kiddo... smiled like no tomorrow. Whilst it was kinda just meh For me. Reality is they could make the food more kid friendly, reduce the cost and they would probably actually sell out once in a while. The online ordering process makes it seem like they are super busy. As they show as sold out the morning of, but in reality less than half the room was filled when we went on a Friday night. Which is unfortunate as we would have taken another person with us last minute had we the chance. But the cost made me thankful we didn't. 🫤 Show less
