I came here at the beginning of the year, it was empty however the environment was much nicer and calmer. I got a matcha rose latte and rice bowl which was okay, but I had a much better experience than the second time I came which is very recently. The environment had completely changed as now it was way busier and super loud. If you are thinking about studying or getting work done here, think again. The matcha latte I got was mostly milk and didn’t really taste like anything. The waiters also weren’t coming to our table despite us hitting the buzzer multiple times. Sad to have see the service quality get much poorer. Show less

we called to make a reservation for a group of 8, as we were having a little birthday gathering and wanted to know if it was ok for us to bring a birthday cake. the lady on the phone told us it was totally fine. come the day of, all of us ordered food/drink and then when it came time for us to cut the cake, we asked for additional plates/forks/etc but were told it would be an extra % on top of the bill (i forgot the exact %). while i understanding doing this if we hadn’t ordered, we had each ordered at least $20+ worth of food and drink per person already??? it would have been nice to know this on the phone when we called… we ended up scraping together utensils from the plates they hadn’t cleared and ate the cake off of napkins ☹️ while the food and drink was pretty good, i don’t think we’ll be returning just in case the privilege of sitting in a chair and breathing air at the restaurant is a secret hidden service fee as well Show less

The main reason im leaving this review is because of our server last night. He had a really strong body odour, and everytime he passed by i had to hold my breath. if i could give this location zero stars i absolutely would with no hesitation. normally i have no worries about ordering chicken at a restaurant, so i ordered a taiwanese fried chicken. aside from the fact that the wait time for my groups table was incredibly long, my chicken was raw. even after this was brought up to the staff, nothing was done about it aside from an offer to remake my order, which was declined. during our visit, no manager came to check in on our group afterwards, and the staff attempted to charge for the meal even though proper food safety was not followed. due to their lack of due diligence, i suffered from minor food poisoning, and a member of my group also felt off even after ordering a completely different dish. after reading other reviews, it seems that i am not the only one who has had similar issues regarding food quality. i suggest to anyone wanting to order food to avoid any dish that could cause sickness edit: second photo added taken by my friend. I feel like this cafe is such a gem if you're looking for somewhere to settle down at night, grab a meal and a drink, and do some studying. It's also a great place to socialize, go on a date, or even have a coffee chat. I've tried several dishes here: mushroom udon, creamy spicy udon, gyudon bowl, truffle mushroom spaghetti, brownie ice cream, tiramisu, and milk tea. Out of those, I'd say my favourites were the udon dishes and the brownie ice cream. I do want to try some of the other drinks, as they always look super appealing when someone else orders them. Unfortunately, my friend ordered the watermelon slush and asked for 50% sugar, but when it arrived, it tasted mostly like water. That was disappointing as the drink was $8. Aside from that, board games are $6 for 2 hours (per person) which I think is a good price, since they have quite a variety of games. The ambience is a 10/10. The cheese-loaded fries were amazing and easily enough for two. The prosciutto & cheese croissant was fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. My absolute favourite was the sea salt rose latte 💓 Definitely adding this spot to my regular list! Show less
